The “Havayot Center” is a rehabilitation center which houses over 1,000 animals including dozens of different and exotic species. The center is accredited by the Parks and Nature Authority, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, veterinary hospitals, and more.

Among the animals that live with us, you will meet parrots, and other birds – from tiny songbirds, to our emu “Romeo,” llamas, our camel “Baklava” a Nasua named, “Nobody,” lizards, and special reptiles, unique aquariums, Australian frogs, horses, fascinating insects, a sugar glider, ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas, and more.

After the rehabilitation of the animals that come to the center, some are released back to nature, some are given up for adoption and for those we fear will not survive in nature, the Center becomes a home for life.

Orphaned animals that grow up at the Center with no other options, undergo an "imprinting" process. This means that they are cared for and nourished by man and therefore see themselves as part of the “flock” of human beings.

These connections enable the reciprocity between the animals and us, and thus they are partners in the treatment team and the treatment process for people.

The “Havayot Center” invites you to a direct encounter with the animals - an encounter characterized by endless love, compassion, and mutuality.

Caring for animals requires extensive resources and the Center is constantly  looking to supplement its income. With your donation, you can help us maintain the “Havayot Center” so that we can continue to rescue and rehabilitate animals and care for many patients.
