Animal Care Therapist Training
The “Havayot Center” offers various trainings for therapists working with animals under the guidance of Dr. Yoni Yehuda
The training is based on over 30 years of experience in the field utilizing the “Triangular Therapy” model, a psychotherapeutic process utilizing animals, and its protocol.
- Weekly training sessions for caregivers utilizing animals, therapeutic dogs, caregivers utilizing horses, caregivers in nature, and more – the groups will provide guidance on the therapeutic work with your patients.
- Weekly training sessions for therapists, and psychotherapists from various fields who utilize animals in their clinics for therapeutic purposes
- Training workshops centered around themes involving therapy designed for the therapists mentioned above, either one time or for multiple sessions.
During the various trainings, the group members will bring case studies of their work in the field. Through analysis and study, we will engage in strengthening the therapist's skill set by understanding and deepening the knowledge in the psychotherapeutic processes that takes place in treatment, and expanding knowhow in the field - adapting and preparing the animals for treatment. Individual guidance is available.
The groups are designed for up to 10 participants in a training session, with the cost depending on the number of participants.
Training groups and workshops are held at the "Havayot Center” and in Tel Aviv.
